Figured I haven't built any aircraft since 2015 when I did the Accurate Miniatures Paul Mantz P51 Reno Air Racer. Basically out of box with only basic interior details, more in visible areas. A few corrections mainly front wheel mount and replaced the slide with 1mm Stainless Hypo tube. Have 2 stet of Aero~Master Doolittle decals and a bunch of Floquill lacquer colors for it.

Awesome subject. Looks like a nice kit too. Can’t wait to see it come together.

Nice!!!
This was one of the 1st few kits I did when I got back into it. The only issues I recall, were a little gap under the tailplane, and I think(?) I had to grind the edges of the engines, for the nacelles to fit (it's been 15 years, so I could be thinking of something else!)

Nice interior! Floquil lacquers?! You must have an excellent paint stash! I know a couple of guys who would buy you out at premium prices.

Very cool! I attempted the Revell B-25 but the fit was so bad that I gave up on it. I'd like to get one of the Accurate Miniatures kits.

I really like the look of this model in my display case but I would not say it was an easy build for me.

Nice interior! Floquil lacquers?! You must have an excellent paint stash! I know a couple of guys who would buy you out at premium prices. I've collected boxes of Floquill Armor, rail and naval colors when they were current along with Floquill Poly Scale. Also Aeromaster, Model Master and Model Master II, Revell ED ROTH lacquers, AEF Designs, SNJ Metals and paint and a lot of Pactra paints. Enough to fill half a E150 Econoline when we moved. I'm a paint addict. . .

Fitted the nose weights and nose, spent a long time holding it to fit tight. Also added a piece of Stainless 1mm tube to the strut so it looks better to my pirate eye...yar! Oh and remade the lower gear/axle parts. Need pics of bobb sight I do not think it was a Nordan. Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

The bomb sight was some simple pieces of metal since it was planned for the bombs to be dropped low level. And they didn't want to lose a Norden sight in Tokyo.

Here is a quick up date. The reason ins in my Isherman thread. A bit of fiddling to get the tail to fit tight and square. Hosted on Fotki

Great to see this one again! It's taking shape with the tail on I finished the pilot for it today after 6 months work. He'll be next to it on a piece of carrier deck.

Lookin' terrific so far Paul. Hey.....at least you're trying a figure out (which looks great btw), I haven't made it that far in my modeling yet.
