Well, after looking at all those stash pics I can see I would be considered way behind the curve. I know yall will have a blast. After all that clam shell work I did on my Indy car it's a shame it never made it past the paint booth

The Alfetta is likely one of the 342 different reboxes of the Merit kit from circa mid 50s. Especially if it has clear discs for wire wheels. I don’t believe I e ever seen an Alfetta boxing that wasn’t the Merit kit but I am no expert. There could be others.

Yeah, sadly I have the Merit kit as a Masterbox brand, I think.  I have been struggling with making some wheels work from a diecast kit.  Might be better to find a Heller kit.

Buy them. I built the 91 and it was a beautiful kit. Definitely high quality stuff for plastic kits.

I have that one and the merit Talbot. Haven’t built them because I haven’t sourced any wheels I like just yet. No way I’ll be using the kit ones.

Realy hard for me to get my head around putting that much into such a marginal kit as the one I have, but those are really nice wheels.

That would be my stupidity 🙋🏻‍♂️. I have very little doubt I’ll end up contacting Fernando Pinto about wheels for this kit. Just as I did on my ancient Aurora Monroe Special. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Nothing better than $55 wheels on a $9 kit. 😂😂

Hey Joe. There would be no hurry from me to end it. Maybe start right at the beginning of the back half of the year and then go through front half of ‘25. July to July or something. I’m totally open on the timeline. I want to be sure people doing the big scale or highly detailed kits have enough time too.

Yes, I would certainly plan on multiple builds if we do a full year. An F1 car, a sprint car or midget, or a pavement modified, an Indy car. Who knows.

You know 2whl…if you decided to do the Honda maybe a guy would build a 1/20 scale version to go along with it…always an idea.
