Looking forward to seeing your paint work on this! Well I have started on it. Here it is so far along side the turret of my next build. 1/35 always seems huge after 1/72 even more so with it being a King Tiger.  upload image online |

Still working on it. Got decals on the track links hanging on the turret sides, a look I have always liked. Decals were easy to work with. Going to leave the barrel in it's blackish gray color, this is how replacement barrels showed up, it's a heat resistant lacquer and at times was not painted in the field. The tube for the barrel cleaning rods is a bit of a disappointment though, weak on detail as if almost an afterthought.  |

Very nicely done. Wasn't aware of the replacement barrel issue in terms of painting - or not. Might use that in the future.

That Panther is looking choice. The decals and the barrel are a sweet detail. The replacement barrel is some new detail to me also.

Just goofing around trying to subtley shift colors around. Although the barrel is a repaint, the third if memory serves.  If it looks glossy to you, it is.  |

Casting texture on mantlet. Seam running across mantlet should be there, but if you don't like that look Vespid gives you two other mantlets to choose from.  |
