This was created for the wife. Same truck her dad had as a kid while he owned his own business. She selected the colors and bought the resin wheels. In the end, it turned out too "hot roddy" for her. So I claimed it. I cambered the wheels. Maybe a tad much, and as much as I hate seeing cars riding on their sidewalls, a good amount of camber can help a vehicle stance.

Built her another in the the same colors as her dads with custom logo's. I'll post that later.

Painted with Testors rattle can, first time using Tamiya Panel Accent, mainly on the motor. Used embossing powder for the cab interior and some of her acrylic art paints for the wood. This was also the very first time I've attempted plug wires.

Great work on this one too!! Thanks for sharing these builds of yours. I really enjoyed this kit. You’ve done a wonderful job with it. I like the color and the wheels look really nice on there.

I see this is already answered but it really is a great kit!! I recommend it. I built it as a box art recreation and it goes together well. Interior detail is a bit sparse but Everything else is very nice.
