This is depressing. I am a HUGE fan of rock...rock of all types! I do love the swamps and wilderness of Michigan....but we lack ROCK, around here. I was fishing this evening...thinking how great the scene was...the only thing that could make it any better, would me some mountains in the distance (close by, would be even better!)

You are indeed correct Mark. Of course I'm a bit biased considering I live in Moab Utah. Where exactly are you at? I know it's not in my immediate neighborhood. Glad you had a wonderful time. Pretty much guaranteed when you visit our red rock country.

Is that Zion Park? The area around St George is absolutely gorgeous. I used to go through there monthly some 30+ years ago. Enjoy your stay

Those are great pictures. Man I’d love to be there right now. I went skiing in Utah several years ago at Brian Head. Gorgeous country out there.

Nature can be simply stunning. A trip out west is on our bucket list, butt with mobility issues, it will be a driving trip, no walking unless things change for the better for the Missus. Keep them coming!

Utah is a beautiful state. I had a team in Orem and was out there several times. Took my sons up to a lacrosse tournament up in Park City once during the summer. It was supper interesting to see the Olympic ski apparatus structures with no snow. Also did a high performance driving event in Toole and I was looking at the beautiful scenery when I should have been watching turns! Drove through southern Utah taking my boys to college up in Ft Collins, CO - amazing views and crazy colors in the rock.

I am so glad you got to visit Goblin state park! It was one of best parks I have been to and far less crowded. My brother in law who serves the area as Sheriff now lives only 30 minutes from the park! We go there every time we visit him!
Did you know several movies have used the park for movie shootings because it felt like if there were on a different planet? Thanks for sharing those cool pictures!
