I do some goofy things. I once owned a 73 Gremlin X ( 1:1 car). Don't laugh, it was a fun little beast. It was a bit non stock by the time we were done with it. So I decided to build a model Gremlin. It's very "non-stock".
This is the chassis. I grafted the front end of a Revell IMSA GTO Mustang onto the Gremlin floor pan, basically scratch built the rest:
And dropped the Gremlin on top of it:
Don't feed it after midnight.

My brother still has a 72x Gremlin that he picked up in the early 80's. I have no idea how you "shoehorned" the modified chassis into the body but it has a really cool custom look to it

My actual Gremlin, first new car I bought, 304 V8 with a 3 speed manual. Well the 3 speed went first, we installed a Warner T10. Then the 2BBl went, Holly 4BBL and manifold, swapped an Isky cam while it was apart. Then the dual exhausts. The car didn't weigh anything, it went pretty good.

I always loved this one Paul. Such a fun build. And I’m yours with the 304 was a good time too.

Again this is really cool. When I was a teen, hanging out at the local cruise nights, there was a guy with a 460 in a Pinto

Zoom zoom! Fun project. I actually always liked the lines of the Gremlin. And maybe not too radical 😎

Again this is really cool. When I was a teen, hanging out at the local cruise nights, there was a guy with a 460 in a Pinto When I was going to college I worked part time in a muffler shop. I had a knack for doing custom bent exhausts so later it became a part time hobby. One day a friend asked me if I could weld him up a space frame, since I was a truss designer and good with tubes, lol. Two years later we revealed a tube framed Dodge 440 powered Plymouth Arrow. The driver sat in what was the back seat and he drove it on the road. Just a little nuts.
