I don’t think that it’s an M59 either. Whatever is under the Tarhe has only four road wheels and the idler wheel at ground level. It sure is an odd duck for certain, whatever it is. The ramps has a single rectangular troop door in the center of the ramp, instead of a convex pentagon door offset to the left side as on a 113, or no ramp and circular troop hatch of a M114. It’s almost like a movie mock up built on a different chassis.

Thats the one! Good job on tracking that one down John! Looking at the web page, the ramp view nails that aspect of what is in the photo. Looks like they changed the design a bit at the front and rear between the test T113 and production M113. Ah memories....

That makes that a pretty interesting Tarhe photo then since there were only 16 prototypes built.

Okay, I am weak and undisciplined. That, and I really wanted to give the Quinta decals a try. Wow. I am sold and am a fan. Jeez Louise, I'll go broke(er). I used the PVA canopy glue, Formula '560' as the adhesive. The ip looks outstanding Lyle! Quinta makes a great product for sure. Way easy to get spoiled on the 3d printed stuff out there

Glad you really like Quinta stuff too and they really look great in your build!!! I don't think there is anything better than those right now so I will definitely use those from now on.

Andy, they make such a difference. But, for most of my stuff, they seem too pricey and can’t be seen as I usually close the canopy. They are tempting, though…

A shout out to ICM customer service... As many of you know, I can lose about anything. I once lost an entire wing (top and bottom) of an FM-2. I did find it later, much later. Anyway, one of the rudder pedals went poof, well flew at supersonic speeds off the tweezers. I did make a replacement that would likely suffice, but hey, why not? I contacted ICM for the part, the one with the "12" on it. that is all I needed. I had to send them a link to where I purchased the kit, and answer a couple of questions, but they were satisfied it was an authorized reseller and sent me the part. It arrived yesterday. They sent the entire sprue. The piece I wanted is in the upper left of the sprue. Somebody told them on me.

I'm hoping life is leveling out for you enough to get to your bench again my friend Maybe, soon. We got sent home on Saturday. Doing okay, I guess. Still have a lot of questions. One Dr. appt today, two on the 20th, another in June…and the fun keeps going.

This one has me spooked a bit. I've started on the cockpit - the collective and sticks. They are so thin and fragile that you cannot clean them very well. Very weak spots on them. I will continue to do bits on this as my courage returns. It will not be shelved...yet. Those Quinta sets really are hard to beat Lyle. I feel your pain on the delicate parts as well. It would help if manufacturers would do a little better job in the plan out to avoid having to clean up fragile parts like these.

Lyle. I've just felt the same pain on my XP-56. The landing gear is a real issue and has broken several times during the build. By the way, the control stick for your right hand on a helicopter is called the cyclic. And as you said the other is the collective.

This is actually two pieces as shown for the collective. The piece to the right in the second pic is where the fragility is.

Looks great so far Lyle! Nothing wrong with slow and steady when dealing with easily broken pieces.
