Welcome to the Journey of Scale Modeling Excellence. Dear esteemed members, I am thrilled to personally share with you the remarkable journey of our company—a testament to my passion, innovation, and unwavering dedication to the art of scale modeling. As the founder, I am excited to take you on this captivating voyage through our history, illustrating how our commitment to excellence has propelled us forward. My story began in 1996, when fuelled by a deep passion for scale models, I joined forces with my friend Stefan to establish Wespe Models. With Stefan's financial backing and my vision, we embarked on a mission to craft resin military kits at the precise 1/35 scale. This endeavor marked the inception of our relentless pursuit of perfection. In the early 2000s, I charted a new course, founding Miniatur-Models. This move allowed us to expand our repertoire, offering resin kits not only at 1/35 scale but also at the intricate 1/48 scale. Collaborations with industry well established like Azimut and Quarter Kit elevated our craft, as we curated collections that captured the imagination of enthusiasts worldwide. However, true innovation knows no bounds. In 2007, we rebranded as Dan-Models, signaling a paradigm shift in our focus. Embracing versatility, we broadened our horizons to include models of heavy equipment and construction, mirroring my unwavering commitment to representing the intricacies of the modern world. Even in retirement, my passion for scale modeling burns brighter than ever. Thus, D-Models emerged as a beacon of innovation, harnessing the power of 3D printing to breathe life into miniature marvels. Collaborating with a new generation of artisans and designers, we continue to push the boundaries of detail and precision. Today, I stand not only as a pioneer in the field of scale modeling but also as a guardian of our legacy—a legacy built on a foundation of excellence, integrity, and relentless pursuit of mastery. Join me on this extraordinary journey, where every model tells a story and sparks boundless imagination. Warm regards, Corneliu Dan Founder, D-Models

Welcome to MSC!!! I am really happy to see you join up.
Gang, I became aware of DModels on Facebook, where he was showing some BEAUTIFUL resin 3d kits for sale; most of the Military stuff is WW1 and highly detailed. I thought he would be a great addition to our forum, so I invited him to check it out and here he is.
Give his stuff a look, it is impressive.

Welcome, Corneliu. I have a number of the Wespe kits in 1/48 and thank you for whatever part you had in making them happen. I used the Wespe Diamond T 3 axle dump truck as the basis for the tractor and the tank trailer's wheels in this model also came from Wespe:

Wow, I am so happy to see that someone reminds of that era and about the models we have made! I was the main designer at Wespe and the pioneer in the resin casting, together with Dan Prusan we did our best to make those models! Bless you for the nostalgia you brought me!

Corneliu, do you plan to make any more 1/48 trucks or construction equipment? I would love to have a Cat Model 12 grader. I can even send you reference photos of the one I have, which is old like me.

What about in 1:25? Painted up like new ity would be a great load for earlier trucks while weathered and worn versions would be great on newer trucks!?

Hi John,
Please send me some pictures to see exactly the model because I have a feeling that it has been done diecast in 1:50 if I'm not wrong. Vintage not old;)

We usually sell our 1/25 models in kit form, because it would be difficult to ship worldwide in a ready-made form.

Corneliu, it appears someone has already done it in several scales in 3D printing, a company in Poland. May not be worth your while.
