I could show a pic of this thing in the Simple Green bath for the third time. I'm through with the Testors spray cans. Just picked up Scale finishes base coat and engine color for this. While the body and engine are bathing I'm going to try to work on the interior.
Pics soon hopefully

I think you’ll like the scalefinishes. I’ve always painted it over mr hobby primers since I’ve started using it and it’s laid down beautifully every time. Look forward to seeing this one once you get going on it.

I waited weeks and weeks to get the burgundy paint and the results sucked so much I also need to give it a bath. |

Classy color choice for this car! Thanks. I still debating on interior. Was thinking of something off white to beige If I can add my  here Johnny. IMO beige would be more of a viable option. It's really hard to get any different sheens of white to show up i.e. flat white carpet and semi gloss lusters can get lost really easily with white and you'll be relying on putting as much detail as possible to add contrast to bring out the most out of the interior. Beige being a darker color will show the sheen contrasts more easily so you won't be relying on detailing alone to bring out the best in there. I'm sure there are others out there who could pull off a great looking white interior but I'm not one of 'em. Hope this helps bud. |
