About 30 years ago, during my first run of modeling, I was mainly a Monogram builder... largely because of subject matter. This is one of kits I built way back when. It met an untimely demise, like all my models from then did, by falling from the shelf of doom... I salvaged what I could and it has sit completely untouched since... hence 30yrs of dust...
So in recent years, I've went back to purchase some kits from my childhood in hopes to build them mainly like I did back then...
Finished this one up today...
Paint and clear is all Tamiya...
Finally assembled my first kit of the year...
I don't remember this one being such a PITA though lol... Oh well, it's done. Now maybe that'll put things back in motion.
As always, thanks for looking... on to the next... hopefully...

Looks awesome. I've done that one in the past as well - super fun.

There are rumours out there that this kit is up for reissue soon. It is one of the ones I still want for my collection of these so I hope it is true.
That is an outstanding job on this fun little kit!

This is a very cool build and being able to redo a childhood build just makes it even better! Was this kit based on an actual show car?

I've done the same thing. Use my current skills to rebuild a kit from the past. Paddy Wagon came out great

Wonderful redo of a kit from long ago. I get the urge every once in a while to do a rebuild of a kit from back then

Thanks all... very much appreciated. I've got a Beer Wagon somewhere to do... and also the Walmart version "Rc Cola Wagon" I've had this kit in my stash twice and have let it go both times. Both times I've let it go I'll see a build like this one that'll make me want to have it once again. Good on you for having the original one you built and then again for how well you pulled this go round off.

That's a nice redo of an old kit! Built a few Tom Daniels kits in my teens.

Thank ya folks... very much appreciated!
If anybody decides to go looking for one of these, I recommend getting an older release. Had to put in a lot of work, just to make things "work"
