While working on the Bayraktor I decided to also try to finish this other drone that has been a resident of the Shelf of Doom for the past 8 or 9 years. It had accumulated a nice layer of dust and a bit of damage to the paint. One wing tip was also damaged (my shelf of doom is a bit crowded), and needed to be repaired with a suitability shaped piece of .020 styrene and a touch of putty. The upper surfaces ended up getting pretty much an entire repaint, carefully avoiding the decals, but it turned out well. I masked and painted the metal ring around the exhaust aperture Stainless Steel Metalizer. The heat sheild behind the exhaust can either be metal or carbon fiber. Just to be different I cut and applied a piece of carbon fiber decal to that area. The one piece I could not find was the clear lens for the turret, so I cut a new one from clear sheet and covered the back side with some film to represent the actual coating on the lens. I still have to add the other 4 lapatures on the turret.

I've got that one in the stash. Was it a fussy build or just lost interest?

Nice fixes! Looks like you must be pretty close to the finish line with this one

I’ve had a couple of builds on “the shelf” on and off through the years and like you, had some extra work generated as a result so I totally understand that. You’re moving through this in good fashion scruffy. Love the wingtip rework and clear lens fab.

Shoot, unless you have all of the armament to still do, it looks like you're almost done! This is a pretty solid kit. I enjoyed it.

Thank you for some ideas. Your work is magnificent so far! I'm building two of these in 1/72 scale, so I might try to do some of these ideas on mine.

Very cool! I've built that one before and it's not a bad kit at all.

Looks great with the load out on it! A 9 year gap without loosing the remaining parts is impressive in itself

This has to be one of the most treasured in your display cabinet scruffy. As Brent said, it's a marvel of a build not only in the fact that it's finished as well as it is but also in keeping track of all of the parts for that long. Splendidly work on a subject that's not often seen built up.

Turned out great. I've got one in the stash. Confirmed it's two toned like you did. Sure would like to figure a way to show her gear up in flight. Load out looks pretty wicked.
