That is an excellent finish Jay! Bravo! What paints did you use for the NMF? It/they sure look the part for well weathered aluminum.

Thanks, Carlos! I used several different ones including MCW Natural Metal, Tamiya lacquer Silver, Gloss Aluminum, and Mica Silver, Tamiya acrylic Flat Aluminum, and Gunze Mr. Metal Color Aluminum. I think that’s all of them.

Love the NMF you put on this one! That's a great idea how you made the base

Jay MCW is a brand I am not familiar with... MCW is Model Car World. They do factory paint colors for cars and have been around for a long time and were in North Carolina I think. They sold the business a few years ago and the new owner was at the Cleveland Model Show when I was there. Since I had bought paint from them years ago I stopped to chat. They are doing more than car colors now and the new owner was really talking up his natural metal paint. It definitely looked good so I bought some and have been very impressed. It’s a ready to spray lacquer. MCW Finishes is the website. Great source for factory match car paint for all you car guys. Jay

Great looking build. The Swedish markings are very cool. Looks very F-86/Mig-15ish. Nice job.

Very cool. I've always liked the little Tunnan. The Swede's had some really great designs
