'Gidday all! Thought I'd come and say hi  I know there are a couple of you here who already know me from MCM and LSP, but for those who don't, my name is Simon and I'm a model-holic.
Firstly, thanks Joe for the very kind invite to join to which I gladly accepted. I look forward to scouring these boards and checking out the wonderful talent that's here. I'll post a couple of current WIPs and some RFI's in due course.
A little bit about me: I am a kiwi living in Australia, not too fat, nearly 50 and fortunate to have a wife and child (who sadly isn't into modelling as much as me, despite my best efforts). I'm not a professional modeller by any stretch and I don't take myself too seriously. Always willing to learn new techniques where I can and I'm happy to share any knowledge that may be of use to someone. Oh, and I have a serious issue with super detailing sci-fi kits.... 
So, with that, I say hello and now I'm going to check out some of the builds here! See you soon and thanks for having me Si

Great to have you here Simon and thank you for responding to the invitation. Really looking forward to having you here and am looking forward to chatting with you more often and seeing your work. For those of you who don't know....this guy has an EPIC Star Wars Star Destroyer build that has been going on for.....what......5 years now? Simon is a GREAT modeler and a GREAT guy to have here guys. Welcome aboard Simon!!  |

Welcome aboard! You can't go wrong super detailing a sci fi kit, at worst you're just predicting the future. What could go wrong?

I am getting better results now than what I used to but still learning ways to get a better finish without the mistakes |
