hey everyone This is my first post here aside from my introduction, so I should make it a decent one I suppose I won't show my entire build history because *yawn* how boring, but here's a few of my later builds that have come out alright. Nowhere near perfect but satisfactory when compared to some of the asters around here! So, lets start with a classic JDM machine - the mighty Skyline R34. This is the Tamiya Nismo version IMG_8662 by Simon W, on Flickr IMG_8688 by Simon W, on Flickr IMG_8678 by Simon W, on Flickr You will notice a recurring item in a lot of my pictures. That is dust. No matter how hard I try to keep them dust free, it always manages to find a way to photo bomb my pics. Next, the Aoshima R35 LB Walk (another blue car I know) IMG_8493 by Simon W, on Flickr IMG_8500 by Simon W, on Flickr IMG_8495 by Simon W, on Flickr We'll change up the car and color now to the Tamiya Supra GT MK4 20230812_103150 by Simon W, on Flickr 20230812_102816 by Simon W, on Flickr 20230812_102858 by Simon W, on Flickr Since those photo I added a rear wing but I haven't taken any update shots of it - mostly because I keep forgetting to Next, yet another Tamiya kit, this time the GMA T-50 in a colour not used by me before then IMG_9013 by Simon W, on Flickr IMG_9015 by Simon W, on Flickr IMG_9009 by Simon W, on Flickr and last but not least - certainly because it's one of my favourite paint jobs - the Tamiya Ford GT 20230515_113233 by Simon W, on Flickr 20230515_113323 by Simon W, on Flickr 20230515_113353 by Simon W, on Flickr I think 3 pics of each should be enough to convey the subjects I am open to constructive critique as I won't learn anything without it. Thanks everyone for indulging me See you again shortly Si

Came out "alright"? I can only dream of getting that sort of finish on a car kit.

Love the Supra! What are you using for paint and clear coat on these? The finish on all of them is outstanding

Lol, thanks everyone! The paint varies from Tamiya, Gunze through to Zero but the clear coats are usually SMS 2k

"need to know what kit that Supra is, or where you sourced that wide body kit"
It's the Tamiya Supra GT kit. It comes like that as standard out of the box. Tamiya want you to paint it white with castrol logos all over it. I say nah, paint it however you like. In my case, it was pink primer overcoated with Alclad Candy red. In the sun it looks so deep and lush.

Outstanding work! Question. By any chance do you do 1/1 cars too??? My Prius could really use a new coat. Stay safe. Jim
