OK, now we start to delve into my favourite genre of modeling - sci-fi! I love sci-fi subjects and I have done a LOT of them. A few years ago, I got massively drawn into the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 universe and bought a fair few Bandai 1/1000 ships. Sadly, most images were on Photophucket but they have since deleted that account and I need to re-upload a number of images to flickr. Unfortunately, the 1/500 Yamato with custom lighting that I had was recently totally destroyed when my wife went to dust it and she knocked it onto the floor where it proceeded to get smashed into a million pieces. I salvaged the custom lighting rig which did lots of cool things when it was working. Maybe I can use it on something different one day, but for now, the rig is tucked away in a drawer The only subject I have on Flickr is the Cosmo Zero in a personalised scheme. This one is 1/72 and also from Bandai. No mods except to the base
Well, that's this one done Be back shortly

Man that is a true bummer about the Yamato getting knocked onto the floor. I'll bet there were alot of crying towels drenched in that event! I've considered building that very ship myself. This fighter that you've built here looks fantastic with all of the details and paintwork involved. WAY too cool!!!

That custom paint scheme looks amazing! I really like the reverse color panel lining on the dark areas.

Thankyou fellas. Yes, it was sad what happened to the Yamato. I had detailed that one too. I'd even found a way to build a cockpit and light the 2 engines of the tiny seagull support ship. It was about 3cm in total length. Sadly, my PB account where the photos of that build were kept has been deactivated, and I refuse to buy a subscription to them only to have a watermark splashed all over the pictures

Another brilliant build here!! I, too, love the color scheme. Great job.
