How much money are we talkin' about here? That would affect my decision quite a bit. But with a big enough payout, I'd be buying a D-Type Jaguar, a Ford GT40, a Ferrari P3 and a Porsche 917 to keep them all company! That's the crazy money talkin'! With fewer resources, my list would surely be different; my new garage ( ) would house a '65 Pontiac GTO, a '68 Hemi-Dart and a 1966 Corvette, coupe or convertible...hell, why not both!?! 😁
The last 917 built will be auctioned soon; its expected price is between 3.5 to 5 million euros...I'd kinda like to have that one. 😄www.ultimatecarpage.com/chassis/3124/Porsche-917-K-81-917-K81.html

That's a interesating question - tbh, as I'm not really into cars I can only think of one vehicle I'd like to own if I had pots of money.
When I was younger I was keen to get a PPL, but less so these days, but you never know if I had the cash. A proper Cessna 310 with the old style Tuna tanks would be high on the list.
About a year ago I could have fulfilled half your list since I followed this down the road. Had a big for sale sign on the windshield.

So I just said 1 billion dollars. I figure, at that amount.. theres almost nothing you couldnt buy haha.

I'd like the big nose 310, with bigger engines and sleek tip tanks!

Very cool Fermis!
It's not that I don't like the R model, I used to maintain a couple and was very fond of them, but I do like that old style forward thrusting nose leg! To be honest, any big Cessna piston twin would be nice - I do like the 421 and the 303 as well.

And with that much money I would have a new (well old) fishing boat. Fishing with depth charges?🤣 I was on one for just over 10 months, never fished, we did hunt and cook things though.

I am one of those odd characters when it comes to cars...Exotic/supercars/rare things do jack for me. Just not interested. We have a 5yrs old Subaru Forester now. Bought it because the price was right. I would buy a Jeep Sahara or something like that or Land Rover Discovery, long base.

I sold this 6 years ago and regretted it the minute I signed the transfer. !941 Chevrolet DeLuxe Cabriolet I redid on 1985. Looks stock inside and out BUT had a hotrodded 1954 GMC 302 truck 6 cylinder with 4 Strumberg 96's, four speed with the column shift set up from a 1965 Mercedes Benz (4 speed column shift) with a 1957 Pontiac differential with 3:89 gears. I sort of know how you feel. My dad had a WW2 BMW motorbike, found it somewhere in the '60s, restored it, traveled through Europe on it, then sold it. He told me he regretted it the moment the guy gave him the money.

I'm pretty confident that I would be guilty of amassing a small selection of new wheels if I came into a tidy sum like a lottery win. I definitely wouldn’t be one who would immediately run to the nearest exotic car showroom to buy the latest overpriced shiny blinged monstrosity. Although I love driving, drove for a living for 25 years, love a good driver’s car and still do occasional track days, I’ve never been a lover of supercars. Formula 1 bores me to tears and I much prefer UK Touring cars, rally or watching the IOM TT. Maybe it’s because I’ve never been flush enough to own one, but I can’t really think of one off the top of my head that I would run out to buy. Watching this floats my boat and has to be one of the most incredible attempts on four wheels to tackle the Isle of Man course. Mark Higgins Full Record Breaking POV TT LapI’m guessing I would put any new vehicle purchases into a few categories. First up would be to own a car again that I previously owned and loved driving. First up I would love to own the rally legend that is the Mk1 or Mk2 Ford Escort. It was the first car I drove after passing my test. They obviously don’t manufacturer them anymore but a company here in Wales, UK called MST (the roads in their promo VT are in Snowdonia, Wales and on my doorstep) build them brand new from the ground up. My Mk2 certainly didn’t drive as I imagine either of these will, but I’ll take my chances.
In the same category two incredibly safe and able daily AWD runarounds I would want to own again would have to be a JDM imported Subaru Legacy BP4 Wagon and a Forester STI. Ideally a S402 Legacy but I’ll settle for a Flat 6. Both these cars reliably transported my family around come rain, shine, or snow for almost twenty years and whilst the Legacy would make a fine daily runaround, I would still take the FSTI to the track for a giggle. These are bonkers cars, fugly as hell, but incredibly capable. and mine embarrassed some far more exotic machinery back in the day.
Category two would be for a modern car and there are two I’ve always had a fondness for. Both would make excellent, special day out and long-distance cruisers for trips to Europe etc. Owning both would be too ostentatious so I’d spend a couple of days out deciding between a Porsche Panamera or a Alpina S Biturbo tourer.
Another catagory is to own a car that I drove at a track day event that simply blew my mind. And that car would be a GT-R
The last category would be for a special soft top weekend toy!

All awesome choices. I would LOVE a Forester to replace my Highlander. Hmm...

Pretty broad range to choose from. A 2.0 n/a with low ratio for offroad or an FSTI for some smooth surface twisties fun
