I have done the initial painting of the wall, what do you think any ideas on how I could improve it?

I think you did great! I would highlight the top parts of the stones whenever the sunlight hits…

I think you did great! I would highlight the top parts of the stones whenever the sunlight hits… And put some moss into the lower cracks where the sun doesn't. Notall the cracks just some random ones.

Made a start on the ground work and the gun carriage tyre tracks. I used Foam Clay a Polystyrene based product that air dries like clay. I have then created the tyre tracks with the wheels on a temporary axle, put some small stones and ground soil over it. Then used a piece of cleaning sponge to press the effects in place. Very pleased with the result, so now to add the effect to the rest of the base.

Great dirt. That always seems so difficult to me.

Added the trunk of the olive tree, made it from a twig and milliput to make the trunk look old and gnarly.

I have added some plant life to the wall, some of it green where moisture would be trapped and some dying off from the heat of the Italian summer.

I am not sure how much grass to add, is this enough, too much or just about right?

Having looked back at the photo from yesterday, I decided that the grass looked to uniform. So add more of differing sizes. I think it looks better, what do you reckon?

I have been making branches for the Olive tree. Large branches to add to the truck and then small branches with leaves and ripe black olives.
