As some of you may know- I like to mess around with large scale stuff. ![]() I've decided to take a 9" figure designed to be printed in resin, and try scaling it up 150% in FDM PLA plastic. Who thinks this will turn out well, or will it be an absolute train wreck? Sound off, and then tune in   |

Loved those movies! You definitely have my attention too. absolutely loved the first one. Big fan of Paul Verhoeven. 2nd was okay..but the humor wasn't the same. 3rd one I couldn't sit through lol. Less said about the 2014 version the better:) |

This looks like a challenging project! What printer are you doing this on and what filament are you going to use?
I know I couldn't print this yet, looking forward to seeing you take it on.

3d printing is still beyond my grasp but I am very interested to see how this prints out in the large scale you are planning.

I'll be getting the leg off the printer soon. I wonder how well it will look after cleanup.
