My turn to apologize for my lack of activity here. I’ll be trying to get caught up. I had an unexpected work trip to North Carolina. A coworker was supposed to take the trip but quit/got fired. So it ended up in my lap. And it ended up being a ton of work. I have had very little time for even scrolling the forum, let alone time at the bench, although I did bring some stuff with me to tinker with in case I had the time. Mostly ended up just working, eating and sleeping though. I’m Back home and recovering now and looking forward to seeing everyone’s great work that I’ve been missing. Hopefully I’ll be able to work on some things myself too.

Thanks guys. I know real life gets in all our way at some point. But it’s no fun. 😂. Glad to be home. Back to normal work Sunday night so after I catch up on the honey-do list that’s 2 weeks in arrears I should still have some me time.

The padlock on my hitch broke in half and my trailer disconnected itself somewhere in the West Virginia hills. That was a fun ride. Got it stopped and hooked everything back and rolled the rest of the way home. All the safety equipment did its job so limited damage. Which is nice considering my rig consists of a ‘24 GMC dually and a ‘24 trailer. 😬. |

Hope you managed to find time to eat local pulled pork BBQ while you were in NC? Nobody makes better! I lived outside Raleigh for 8 years and I miss it!

Oh, Raleigh/Durham is where most of my work was. And I did get some local bbq. It was truly excellent too. Had to get some while I was there for sure. |
