100% OOB Revell Germany, very sweet kit to build. I built it as a replica of a car I used to own, "Sahara Tan" with a "Teak" interior.

Sharp car Paul. You've got the paint finish and details covered perfectly.

That is lovely! I have one of these tucked away somewhere to build and stick with my Tamiya bug. Love the color choice you went with too. Great looking build.

Magnificent! I drove one of those for about three or four years; bought it from our neighbor next door. What great memories!

Absolutely gorgeous Beetle Paul. You have done some really sharp work to nicely represent. And, yeah, I drove a few over the years.

A beetle infestation if I ever saw one, Joe!
Lovely model, Paul. I had a 58 but it was pretty rough. Not sure my weathering skills are up to replicating it.

Wow! What a nice Bug! Great job! I drove a '66, '67, and a '73SB. Loved them all, yours brings back many memories. We used to buy Beetles for $100.00, drive them for a year and sell them for $100.00. Now a decent Beetle is worth what???

Very nice work.
Ya, those used to be cheap to buy, build and have fun. Not so much anymore. I would love to have that karmen Ghia in the center there.

Oh, now don't let that deter you from owning one of these historic pieces . We have folks from the Netherlands and Germany buying some and shipping them home.
