I didn't realize that hadn't posted this build here yet. With the Super Hornets done, this was another "shelf of doom" project that I pulled out. I got a book on the MiG-29 not long ago that really helped with the panel lines. So I'm back to work on it starting with the nose. Blending it in and fixing some erroneous panel lines.

Nice. What’s with the black marks? Marling fit?

Following along with this. It's always great to have good reference material for scribing panel lines

This is going to be yet another treat to watch from you Mike. I'm going to have to find some of that BW Black super glue. I've got some "black super glue" but it's mostly clear with a hint of black in the bottom of the bottle. lol

More work on fixing panel lines and seams. More black super glue is a game changer for me.

Got more work done on the Mig. Working on one side of the nose/fuselage. Also filled some gaps at the bottom of the flare dispensers. Really making some progress now.

Nice progress Mike. Redoing panel lines is one of my least favorite tasks building.

I may be crazy (ok yeah I know I am) but I find rescribing therapeutic.

But you do it very well. I'll leave it to you to figure out which one!

Need to build 80 kits per year until I'm 100 to deplete my stash. Maybe I should sell a couple.

Oooooh, nifty! Is the fit terrible? Or "workable"? Nice progress Mike. Redoing panel lines is one of my least favorite tasks building. You and me both, man.

Hope I am not too late to your party? At least I am wearing all black this time in case you spill those black glue on us.

Finished with the seams on the top and sides. Now I'm working on the engine nacelles. Lots of filling and sanding. I won't be able to get much done for the next week because of the hurricane coming. We'll be on the "dirty" side so lots of rain and flooding.

I hope the flooding stays to a minimum there! A big kudos to you for the panel lines. Re-scribing that many of them makes me cringe

Be safe out there I expect you not to play outside throwing your jets into the strong winds. The 29 is looking good!

So finally some bench time. On the Mig, I'm still working on the bottom engine nacelles. More black super glue added to some bad panel lines.

I was checking on the kits that are currently on the shelf of doom. The MiG-29 needed the horizontal stabs added. I drilled holes for some metal pins and glued them on. They're not perfect but they're on and close enough.
