That really looks nice. Great detail on those 1/16 monsters.

Bookmarked this. 1/16? This will be ginormous! The tracks have a wonderful natural sag to them. Was it very complicated to construct them?

No, about 4 hours per side. 93 outer parts, 93 inner parts and 31 ice grips, and that twice. Each part has to be sanded 4 times and glued very carefully. Otherwise it slips apart or stops moving. It can be done.
The worst part are the wheels, the rubber wheels have 4 sprues on the outside and 2 on the inside. They stick so hard to the wheels, that you have to sanding them both.

So you're looking at 10-12 hours just for wheels and tracks? Dang. Looks fantastic, though!

After a long time, I have continued working on the stug. The picture is from the end of August. After that we were busy with Corona for 14 days, then 3 weeks of vacation. During my vacation I built the T-72 and T-90. After that I finished Nunu s Audi A4 BTCC. But now, I'll continue with the stug. More pictures are on the way.

I missed this kit when you first posted it Roland but I'll be watching it now. Nice n' easy assembly gets a thumbs up from me in armor building as I haven't dived off into that genre as of yet. Progress is looking good and I'm glad this one is back in progress.

Yes, the sets from Value Gear are great. And don't cost as much as the SOL model. I spent €25 on them.

Hi, no, everything is separate and loose. I can disassemble the stug for painting. And i also have 6 figures, but I didn't pay attention when I ordered them. None of them have a winter uniform.

Now THAT sounds like something that I would do Roland. Hey......at least you caught it man. I have already found 6 figures with winter uniforms. I will only order them when I have finished the stug. But first I have to go to the hardware store to get 2 spray cans of primer. Tamiya primer is getting too expensive......

I keep seeing value gear stuff pop up and it seems to always look great. Like your antenna too and can’t wait to see the crew all done up. Very cool.
