It's been a hot minute since getting bench time. Work season is in full swing and I've been putting in the hours and exhausting myself. This summers project... I have gotten a little start on it. Nothing worth taking pics of yet...hopefully soon though!

All right! Who doesn't love a Mosquito? Look at all those extra bits and bobs. Should be fun.

Pulling my chair up! Hope it's not too hot up there cause it is way too hot here in Indiana already. Drink plenty and shave your head so you can feel cooler already.

Pulling my chair up! Hope it's not too hot up there cause it is way too hot here in Indiana already. Drink plenty and shave your head so you can feel cooler already. It has been hot, and I have been BUSY! Current project... I've been working on this deck few a couple few weeks. Started the roofing and screening on the "clubhouse" yesterday. The pool is open to me at any time...I don't need no haircut!!! Another project finished up last week... Did the foundation for an addition, for my cousin I haven't had much bench time with those bigger projects, and treating smaller jobs like after work side-jobs...but I have found some time...

Good to see you back at the bench with all that going on. The Mossie is looking great and your pool looks pretty tempting on a day like today

Nice construction all around, Jeremy. Are you using a laser or doing it the old way?

Nice construction all around, Jeremy. Are you using a laser or doing it the old way? Old school! I told my cousin to get a laser or transit...but he didn't. I said "no guarantees"! I built the leads off of the house, then grabbed the straightest looking "two-by" I could find, put a level on it and took a measurement and went from there. He did have a laser level(only good at night, though. One lead was 1/8th high and another was 1/4 low. When I did the 4" block on top, I laid the one tight and the other high. In the end...there's only a 1/8th discrepancy. Pretty good for "old school", on a 20x30!!!

Thanks again, everybody! It's a wrap on this one! I kept the weathering pretty light. Just the standard was and a little grime(pastels) ...And a crappy little bonus! PM Models TA-183. Very basic kit. $1 vendor table deal. Not recommended!

Nice job on the Mossie. The bonus build looks really good. I've never been a fan of the early PM stuff. I have a F-100 in the stash that's horrendous.

Beautiful result!!! Turned out really nice. I like the light weathering on it too. And what a cool little bonus build.

Even Chuck Norris approves! Lovely work on the Mossy! I am always a big fan of those invasion stripes. I was hoping to run into you at IPMS Nats in Madison as I figured you might be there too.

Those both look really good. I think we all tend to over do the weathering so keeping it light is a nice change and looks great.
The TA-183 is cool...
