Ferkin seriously cool bro! Love it! Your detail has given it that something! To replace the tracks as well is awesome. I look forward to seeing the paint job.

Thanks for all the positive feedback folks .... much appreciated. Colour, probably similar to the original photo ......... slightly lighter blue/grey, lots of scratched and worn paint, faded colour on top surfaces ............... soil debris and some vegetation on tracks and track frames . Aim is to look as if it could not be started and has been dragged /winched on to a low loader from where it was abandoned. All sounds easy in theory , we'll see how reality kicks in

Oh, what a job! If you hadn't shown the intermediate pics, the final result would have looked like another kit. Looking forward to the paint and dio part of the build

Well have been able to start the paint process bit earlier than I originally thought . Initial plan had been to prime/ undercoat in black , as a way of adding some shadow and definition into some areas, but was a bit unsure of the plastic. As the basis of this was produced more as a "toy" while the plastic is definitely a hard plastic type it seemed a bit "greasy " .................... although I don't think there is one bit of the origonal surface left now. So I decided to that as I had some pretty strong self etching primer left over from a full size project thought I would use that first ..... primer was very well thinned down and then misted on. As you would expect the unifying coat of paint has shown up some flaws( actually a lot!) and some work the needs to be corrected .............. an obvious area is the run of the tracks around the rear sprockets. So need to fix these bits and and then a touch more primer if required and then I will hit all the shadow areas with some black before moving on to top colours . Painting is not my strength so any suggestions as I go along will be most welcome

That is gonna look very cool when painted and weathered. I keep an eye out in stores for kids toys that may be of use.
