Tiger 323 Tiergarten Berlin 45

  Hi All
Made a start on this last week ,the kit is the tami early tiger1 typical tami kit easy fit no real problems ,now there are afew pics of 323 but none show the engine deck or front section where tools and other bits are stored so most have been left off .
  The tool holders have been replaced were possible and a set of engine grill mesh  used,the exhaust and shields are the kit parts just dented and bent a bit ,now i must tackle the rear stowage bin on the turret as that was mangled at some stage ,should be fun ,  now from what ive been reading this tank was a mix and match of parts so if I get it wrong and its not a Biggy it ,will be, 
   
  Got some figs on the way for this now and a small dio so few pics.

Well as said above the rear stowage bin was to be made and wrecked! and so done in one sitting well happy with the out come,you will see in the pics i used some metal from a tomato puree tube ,i find this stuff great for straps,and many other uses .
The side fenders are kit parts ground down on the inside to get them nice and thin then you can bend and twist for damage,if they did not come out ok for me i would a used some of the puree metal to replace them.
the wheels are next I have them painted in a mud brown color so when joined together i dont have to worry about the kit color been seen,now some of the outer road wheels are missing on this kitty so more fun to sort this out, not sure what tracks i will use yet ? must see if a particular type are needed  pics

Some fancy footwork on those stowage bins and the damage. I can’t quite make out what’s in the distance under that muzzle brake Leo.

Thanks keavdog I appreciate that ,406 Silverado in the background lurking is a Russian T34 /85 .
Now as this area after the battle of Berlin was used as a collection point for knocked out tanks it may not have antin to do with the Tiger.

Hi All

Got some paint on ,was going with tami xf 60 but a bit too dark so added some deck tan to lighten it a bit, once i start weathering it will tone down a bit  
  Figs arrived last week and the last one today,.pics

How on earth I missed the updates on this but what wonderful scratch work! The weathering and battle damage look phenomenal

Had a few different sets a tracks to use on this, began to glue together a set of academy,then realized i had used some but for the life of me cant remember on what,got a new lot so on the move again every thing painted now i think  so off to the hair salon for some hairspray and then weathering and finish the tracks
