For now, this is a placeholder..... I have the Huey in progress and the Tarhe waiting. Well, as I said yesterday, this beast showed up yesterday. There are 250+ parts, it is about 19-20 inches long, longer with the rotors. When I ordered this, I looked for the Quinta set for the interior and nothing came up. I somewhat reluctantly ordered the Eduard PE set fot this kit as well as the Eduard masks. The PE instrument panel and consols look pretty good. About 10 days ago, I looked again and there was a Quinta set showing up. It arrived yesterday. It is so much better than the Eduard set. The trumpeter kit has the clear IP plastic part and a printed film for the instruments. Compared to the Quinta and even the Eduard, it looks pretty childish. The trumpeter also has some PE included as well. When I get to it, it should be a humdinger. Oh, some of the folks that frequent SPAM and MSC were indicating a hankerin' for a helocopter GB. I'm game if we can run it in both places. Anyway, here are some pics and a link to the gallery on my Postimg account. link to the CH-47D gallery
 There was some damage to the decal sheet. Some creasing and a small tear on decal 57. I've asked Trumpeter for a replacement.

Between this and the other two (and the Revell 1/32 Huey that’s done) I’m not sure. Then there are the B-53, B-58 1/48 C-130, the Atomic CNon, the B+26, etc. seemed like a plan at the time. Too late on the workbench clutter! Looks Sanford & Son after a tornado hit! |

Dupes, Sharp and Kyle - Thank you so much for following along. I am really nervous with these kits, not the Huey so much. A lot of $$$ and not a lot of room for errors. Bu Slow and steady will help.

I’m in for that one if you build it 🍻 Well, I didn't know it when I bought it off Ebay, but it was started. Much of the gun and gun carriage was/is built up. Not horribly done. The main work left looks to be the trucks. |

HOLY SMOKES!!! I always wanted to get this kit but I chicken out every time I have my hands on it at past shows. You might change my mind while you build it so you definitely have my attention. Good luck buddy!
