Man you did a sensational job on this for it being as primitive as a model as you're mentioning Jack. You've done one heckuva job on bringing this one to life and your efforts are to be applauded. WOW!!
Just how long is this ship anyways?

WOW!! Just how long is this ship anyways? Thanks. It’s a good 3’ long. I actually assembled the gearing motors in it and when I turned on the power it sounded like someone tossed a spoon into a garbage disposal. LOL. So it’s definitely a static display

What a massive ship at 1/125 scale! I really like the weathering on this!

What kit was this? Atsa big ol' lady there and she is done up quite nicely. Perfect looking, to me. This is a piece to be very proud of.

I’ll construct wall shelves in the next month or so to accommodate most of these

Very nicely done! so much potential in this kit. I know that it's old and rough, but with some extra effort, AM or scratch parts, and ingenuity, it can really shine. Bravo!

I agree, it turned out great! those 5 inch turrets do look really good 3-D printed. It definitely adds to the model and keeps your eye focused away from some of the other stuff as you said. Then that little bit of weathering you did really takes it over the top.

Fuzznoggin! You’re costing me money 😂🤣 loved what you did with this. Bought myself another one this weekend! That 2nd shot you took could be in drydock with the right background. Once again, nice work with this Lindberg model 👍

Mongoose,
Be sure to get the 3-D printed turrets and bridge for this kit. There are also the Bofurs and Depth Charge racks too if you want to spend the additional $$$. I only went with the turrets and bridge on this one.
