Steyr Type 1500A/01

Just beginning a new project.
Starting with Tamiya's German Steyr 1500 (kit #35225)
Not a lot to show so far but the engine compartment and front suspension.

Love this vehicle if in the morn had the money would buy the real deal , this kit is a jem ,you are doing a great job so far, its one truck that could be displayed up right or upside down , great detail on the undercarriage Watching

The Tamiya Steyr series are among my favorite models. Detail is great out of the box. Dozens of cool aftermarket accessories. Goes together like butter! Can't ask for more

Well, The Steyr build is pretty much complete. I'm waiting to receive some storage accessories to load into the truck.
Final touches to the weathering will be completed when it's put into a diorama.
The final phase of this build was akin to a nightmare. I had several "senior moments" where I snagged the small tray I had holding all the tiny subassemblies and scattered them across the room. I kept breaking parts off the model that had been previously glued in place. Fortunately, on my hands and knees I found all but one tiny piece, one of the gun rack clamps that was supposed to be located behind the spare tire disappeared forever somewhere on the floor. Could have been worse!
