Great work on the engine!! Thank you, Andy Thanks James. The battle with the wires is over and their in place. I also got most of the transmission ready to go. And the little springs that hold the exhaust didn't fight me as much as usual. 545

Changing the plugs on that thing must be pretty sporty.

Your plumbed engine looks outstanding! Looking forward to seeing it and the transmission joined together Thank you Brent. I won't be joining them yet. I need to show the chassis some love. Ah, the intake trumpets always add nicely to any engine build. That looks wonderful. Thank you Kyle. With the powertrain coming along, it was time to get the chassis ready for it. First was installing the master cylinders and the plumbing. Then the oil tank. After that, the challenge was to get the radiator and all of its hoses on at the same time. 706

Bandini in the 158 is a rare shot. He usually drove the 6 or the 12.

Awesome details. Don't get me wrong, I love these cars in every way - but that pic in the pits shows just how much these things were super fast coffins.

Awesome Paul!! Front end goodies are starting to look just like the real thing now! Thanks Kyle. You are too kind. Awesome details. Don't get me wrong, I love these cars in every way - but that pic in the pits shows just how much these things were super fast coffins. Thanks John. I love this era of F1 also. But they were very dangerous. Love the detail work! The lines from the master cylinders and hose clamps really catch the eye Thanks Brent. I still feel I need to improve both my brake lines and hose clamps. They are very fiddly to install. Other than two small details, I got the chassis done. And I got a start on the decaling. I'm only doing a couple of decals at a time so they have time to dry before I do the next ones. 770

This is coming together wonderfully! It seems a shame covering all of the intricate detail under the body

Paul, I absolutely love the reference photo this time. What an awesome hauler!! Chassis looks outstanding and decals are always exciting. It looks great so far. Here's another picture of what I believe is the same hauler but a couple of years earlier This is coming together wonderfully! It seems a shame covering all of the intricate detail under the body Thank you, Brent. The body is removable so the detail won't be completely lost The structure was put around the engine, then the trans was mated. Once those parts were together, I could install the exhaust. The decals are on and the main tub is complete. All the upper cowl needs is to have the windscreen fitted. Not one of my favorite jobs. 852

That engine is a model all on its own Paul. I realize that this is a large scale build but you've still got everything in there but the kitchen sink man. I really enjoy watching these cars come together in the hands of a skilled modeler.

I really enjoy watching these cars come together in the hands of a skilled modeler. Thank you very much, Joe. I'm not convinced about the skilled modeler though. I still feel I have a ways to go after seeing some of the stuff on-line. I decided to add the rear suspension before mating the drivetrain to the monoque. 872

Drop dead gorgeous work on the drivetrain! Thank you very much Brent Really is. Some truly stunning work happening!! Great job Thank you Kyle. I believe I can see the finish line coming up fast. The chassis and drivetrain are now mated together. While I was at it, I placed the bodywork on for a glamour shot. It still needs the windscreen and mirrors. MFH provides decals to do the blue on the lower edge of the engine cover. But I decided to spray it in TS-15, which is the same as the lower body. 940

That looks awesome and you are so close now Thanks Kyle. Upper bodywork got the mirrors and windscreen on. Rear engine cover got the screens on. So just like that.....it's finished 1032
