Eduard Fw 190D-9 1/48

I am happy to announce I have completed the D-9 which will be accompany my Fw 190A-7 in an upcoming Diorama. I chose to not weather it as much as I did for the A-7, but still went heavier than normal.

The color variations, showing part of the impact on Germany at the end of the war, are really cool. The weathering shows a plane that hasn't been around that long but has been used heavily. Awesome

I dunno how in the world I missed this.......but I did. A spectacularly detailed out & well painted/ weathered Luftwaffe aircraft that has the perfect balance in terms of overall look.  I know these Eduard kits have their challenges but you've overcome all of them with this D-9 Keith. Beautiful work man.

Compared to the A-7, the D-9 had significantly more fit challenges etc. Luckily I was able to overcome those obstacles and get this together!
