Coming together nicely Paul. It’s great to see great results from a rattle can. But then again with all those years of experience shows😁

I get a kick out of watching these kits that already have so much detail packed into the straight of the box get built up. Progress is coming along in good fashion in this one starting with that engine. Thanks Joe Excellent work on the tub. Instrument panel and steering wheel look wonderful. Thank you, Kyle Coming together nicely Paul. It’s great to see great results from a rattle can. But then again with all those years of experience shows😁 Thanks Chris I spent some time routing brake lines. 527

My favorite part of these kits might be all the brake hardware haha. I've tried many times to copy this in scale and its so hard haha.

Paul, The cockpit looks fantastic. The shift linkage with the wooden shift knob and the Lotus logo on top is a nice touch for sure. Are you going to be wiring the Instrument panel?

I'm still undecided about the wiring. On one hand I'd like to do it out of the box. On the other, it screams for that added detail.

Paul, My mistake. So in reality wiring the dash makes little sense once the surround is on.

Thank you very much guys. Since it is time to start adding delicate bits on the chassis, I decided to decal it now. Then I got the firewall ready to have the engine bolted to it. 723

Paul, oh what a perfect paint job, and even more so when Chris posted reminding us that it's from a Rattle Can no less. I can't even come close to your results owning 3 Grex Genesis Air brushes. And looking at those added to details on the engine bulkhead having different tones of Aluminum between them and the bulkhead just adds that much more realism to your build.

Paul, at your current rate of building you’re going to have to build more than 3 for this group build. LOL!! Beautiful work. Looking fantastic.

Paul, Your skill level is certainly the equal of Chris's as the two of you are on a level just way above most of us, especially me.
The front suspension looks fantastic to say the least with not a single issue in sight. But what really catches my eye (only see out of my right eye these days), is the slight variation in the Aluminum metallics for different pieces. I'm still trying to figure out of the containers for the brakes and clutch are a different shade of paint, or molded that way.

Beautiful for sure, Paul. Excellent work as always. Thank you James Paul, at your current rate of building you’re going to have to build more than 3 for this group build. LOL!! Beautiful work. Looking fantastic. Thank you Kyle. I'll do 3 to start with, then I need to get back to my other started kits. But I do have a couple of open wheel kits that qualify, so you might see some more. I'm still trying to figure out of the containers for the brakes and clutch are a different shade of paint, or molded that way. joel Thank you very much Joel. But I don't think I'm on a higher level. I believe the kits I'm working with are on another level. If you where able to examine one, you would know what I'm talking about. The reservoirs are actually grey. I primered them with my metal etch primer and left them that way. I liked the way they looked. MFH wanted me to mate the engine to the chassis, then put on the trans, and then put on the rear suspension. But I thought it was going to be easier to do the entire power train first, then mate it to the chassis. So here is the power train so far. 893

Paul, The finished engine/trans/suspension looks just amazing. As I've said numerous times, it's nearly impossible to actually tell model from the real deal.
As for your decision to prime the clutch and brake reservoirs gray and leave them that way, was the right decision.

Simply outstanding! I'm glad this isn't covered by body work it looks too good! Thanks Brent. That's one of the pluses about this era of F1. You get to see the engine. I drove this car in GP Legends quite a lot. Outstanding stuff! You’re doing an incredible job on this Paul. Thanks Chris. Just trying to keep up with you !!
