I was down for several months when I moved. Moving the built stuff was the rough part. Setting up the new bench as fun and I got back as soon as I was able. Good luck on getting up and running.

That's a bummer! Short notice and moving with a healing shoulder....dude. Not of fan of moving either. 2 years go my wife and I moved from socal to Arizona - double move. Spent 9 months in a 2 bedroom apt living like college students while our house was being built. Then moved into the new house. Wasn't so bad as we had most of our stuff being held by the moving company. Glad your settled in.

Moving is for sure never any fun. Can’t imagine moving now with all the built ups. Nightmare. Even worse if you’re recovering!! Hopefully you’ll be able to get back to the bench too.

I only boxed up a handful of built kits and tossed out the shelf queens that I haven't touched in years. Sold off a portion of the stash to the Black Widow hobby shop. Space is tight for the remaining stash of kits. I'm wondering how the Hell I fit everything at the other house when this one is several hundred square feet larger? A few more days and I should be set back up and will attempt to finish the Das Werk 1/16th Panzer III and the figures I have for it. I did start a new 3D print job of a 2B Neir figure using the Kobra Max printer.

Amazing that you did all this after shoulder surgery. I did a major move from CT to FL 5 years ago. Packing the stash and the builds was a lot of work.

First off, I hope that your shoulder is okay after the big move Scott and that your recovery from the rotator cuff surgery is coming along well despite the move. Secondly, .......moving.....MOVING. I can tell you ALL about that as my wife and I have moved no fewer than 10 times due to military reasons and you're right.....it's not a fun event. The good news is that we tend to purge unused stuff every time we move which seemed to keep clutter down for my wife and I as long as we were moving all of the time. We've now been in our current house for over 13 years and a good move would really help us out right now. My grandpa used to have a saying that rings quite true, "Five moves is equal to a burnout". With all of the stuff that either gets broken, gets given away, sold off or taken to places like Goodwill we loose a LOT of stuff along the way which.....in effect equals a "burnout". lol Glad to see you back and am most certainly looking forward to having you build with us again bro.

This was the USS YukonXL - the car models were more stackable. Had a few repairs.

I remember a move in Houston when I was a kid and stuck some models in the car. Got sick later that day. Nexxt day I went out to get them and the heat melted some of them. A Revell kit of the U-505 bent into a U. Learn not to do that agin.
