I know I can contact Revell, last time it took a bit over a month to get the part I was missing. my 1/24 66 Shelby gt350h is missing a head. Looking at the tree, doesn't look like it was ever molded. I scoured my spare parts but I have extra's of everything including 2 sets of Ford flathead heads, but nothing to fit this. Want to finish this kit. Here's the one I have. Hoping someone has a spare before I go to Revell.

Hope someone can give the assist here. I don’t have any 1/24 mustangs.

Not that this helps you now, but I'm starting to set molds for all the bits I want to have as spares so I can cast what I need when I need it. So far, I've found it quite easy. You could make a mold and cast your own replacement.

You could make a mold and cast your own replacement. Never really thought of that. How are you making them? Well, like I said, I'm just getting started. But, I am taking two part silicone and pouring over the parts I want to make a negative, be it one or two piece mold and then using resin to cast out a fresh part. So far I haven't done much but if you are careful it's not hard. There are a ton of how-to videos out there that can explain this far better than I can. I just don't want to keep buying little bits I can copy and save money down the road. Right now I am casting road lamps for a C3 Vette that never had them. I used a one piece mold and UV resin and got a perfect cast of the part I wanted to replicate. Just something to add to my arsenal of knowledge.

Read that title and thought it sounded like a pretty good trade!
