Awesome job with all of those decals! Thanks Brent!! Not bad. Just a little split over the roof ridge unsurprisingly. Will touch up a bit. Race car. I worry not about perfection

Love the color combo on this livery with the white and the green and the orange - tricky decal job and you are nailing it my friend - nicely done so far!

Much better than our more typical Japanese brands can do…

I was watching the 1st F1 practice at Monza this morning, and as a side piece they showed a new F3 carbon Fiber car being totally wrapped with the team's official paint job. From what I've heard nearly every team wraps every part as there's just no painting cars any more. Same for most professional racing series. I'm starting to wonder if that will ever come to be in plastic modeling as all we would have to do is buy the wrap and use a hair dryer to apply it. I could see this coming sooner then later.
No more constantly buying paint, no more buying and applying decals. Does have it's plus side.

No paint to be found. Just vinyl. But it’s still pretty thick for a scale model. I think decals are here to stay for now.

Kyle, agreed for now. but just like with 3D printing of parts, bodies, etc as technology changes and advances I can easily see the Vinyl getting thinner and thinner. Today's decals are really stretchy compared to the ones from years ago.
I would love to still be around and modeling when it comes to pass.

This conversation brought back a memory. On our short tracker we raced the sponsor name and other graphics were vinyl. A few tire rubs later I started matching enamel model paints and repainted the damaged sections of vinyl. Racing on a budget. Hard to tell what the future for this hobby brings. A ways back 3d printing was science fiction. ***(A bad picture of a bad picture of me touching things up)

kyle, Outstanding detail engine painting for sure, as well as the instrument panel. Nothing wrong with OOB builds as your work surely proves.
