I have still never built a Tri 5. Every time I see a build like this I want to change that. Awesome work, as always. The chrome yellow is always a great color choice and the trim and engine also look awesome. Beautiful job.

Brilliant! One of my earliest favorite cars as a kid. Paint looks fantastic. Chrome trim too, all around great job!

Very cool. If my memory is correct, this is the Hot Rod Magazine 57 (Project X) that has had a ton of different engines and things over the years and been in many issues of the mag. It still exists and is an icon. Very well done!!!

Not that it has a lot to do with Mike’s beautiful build of a post car here, as it’s in its own class by itself. But ‘57 Chevy related. Round 2 has just repoppped the truly excellent AMT ‘57 street machine kit. Definitely on my list. Peak AMT for building a ‘57 Bel air.
