just came across this in my YT feed and thought it was a good watch, especially if you've ever been curious about how kit makers actually make their kits

Always amazes me how much goes into the production of our kits. One thing I noticed straight away is it appears that the machines were running at " human speed" vs the insane rate we factory workers have to run our production machines.

And now you know where the dreaded ejector pin marks come from. Thanks for sharing!

Tha t was fun. I, too, was impressed at the speed of the lines. So much hand work involved.

yeah I thought it was really cool too. I personally like how machines haven't completely taken over every aspect of the production at Academy. I wouldn't mind the last guys job though - test building each kit Hard life that'd be - not

Really neat video. Were those Airfix boxes, on the shelf, at the 5 minute mark?

Thanks for the video link Madhatter! And now you know where the dreaded ejector pin marks come from. Thanks for sharing! LOL! You beat me to it, Brent. I was going to say the same thing. Always knew they were called ejector pin marks, but never knew why they were called that until I watched this video. Saw lots of A-10C sprues being made too! Love that kit so far.

And THIS is why kits cost so much now!
Having worked in manufacturing for several decades I always love seeing how things are made.

Thinking about it, it's crazy just how technical this all is for a plastic kit. We are blessed!
