I found this kit for a good price recently and thought it would make a nice little project. The kit parts are well molded and nicely detailed. the hull is in three pieces; the lower hull is in two halves, while the upper hull is a single piece. The kit has so far gone together really well. I am not usually a fan of the three piece hulls, but in this case all the parts fit up really well. Should be heading to the paint booth rather soon.

Nice work so far! It's a great little SSN kit. I did one years ago as HMS Torbay of Red Storm Rising.

That's looking really good! I like to do a sub now and again - way out of my wheelhouse so I don't overthink stuff. Great pallet cleanser.

This is another kit I have had in my hand but put back on the hobby shop shelf several times. By the sound of your mini review I think next time it just may get a new home.

Very cool. I've wanted to do a sub for a long time now, just don't have any in the stash. Looks great.

By the sound of your mini review I think next time it just may get a new home. It is a very nice kit, the surface detailing is nice and sharp, it goes together easily, and is something a bit different. Very cool.
