Another one added to my Monogram designed kits Revell/Monogram '66 Shelby kit. Painted up Tamiya TS50 Mica Blue and Tamiya TS13 Clear. All the chrome was covered with Tamiya Matt Clear and the panel liner used over it to give it more of a polished aluminum.
Originally wanted to add silver stripes to it, but liked the blue enough to leave it as is.

If you try it, I do suggest spraying the chrome on a day when the humidity is very LOW... if not, it'll turn this white color and kinda crusty. ( don't ask how I know)

I use the same method of toning down the chrome since it is just so unreal looking straight from the box.
Super sharp 'Stang in a different colour than most.

Looks good, Jeremy! I've used your method on wheels but not on all the chrome. May have to give it a try. you've done a nice job with this 66 Mustang!

Very nice! Love Mustangs of all ages. I had a 65 GT Coupe way back. Pretty cars with a bit of muscle.
