Finally, a new F-4B/N in the one true scale! I can finally use up my old microscale phantom sheets of USMC Vietnam ground pounders! Or better yet, some of the current quarter scale sheets from furball and others might finally be released in 72nd scale.

I've got the old Monogram kit, but I could see picking one of these up. Nice to see a new F4 and in the right scale.

So what you're saying is my Tamiya and Revell 1/32 kits are too big?
BUT, a Finemolds in 1/72 I would happily build.

Not at all… they just need a bigger work & display area… much bigger… and more paint, more glue, more… 🤨😏🤔

As much as I want a collection of 1/72 Phantoms... If I had to have one Jet in 1/32, it would probably be the F-4 Phantom. I was hooked when I had the 1/32 Revell kit back in the 80's and I have played with the idea several times of buying the Tamiya F-4J...

Pull the trigger on the Tamiya Phantom , it's a really nice kit . I may do that one day, but as I mentioned in the OP, I have a mess of 1/72 decals I need to use up…
