The box...
And what is inside...
Yay, what did I get myself into ..40 pages of instructions and 96 steps. Well, what's the rush. Or as we say in Dalmatia, may the devil take away the hurry.

This is what the mechanism that keeps the wing mounted payload pointing always forward looks like. It is a bit of a paint to put in place without gluing anything but it fits well. Moves a bit stiff so how will it all work when finished remains to be seen...

That looks like it could be a handful when putting the wings together.

There's a good bit of detail in that pit and it is turning out great in that area. The wing assembly does look a bit tricky with future assembly but am looking forward to seeing you overcome the obstacle Castel. Good looking build so far bud.

Thank you :-). It is tempting to make the wing with slats and flaps down but it appears that in this configuration the wings will swing very little or not at all. So I'll keep it on the simple side and make the slats and flaps in the retracted position. Cheers...

It is starting to look like an airplane, but... There are several deformed pieces :-(. Some of them look quite fine when you look at them, but when trying to fit it you notice that they are clearly deformed. What fits well, fits well. I tried superglue in some places to force the deformed part in place, looks ugly but doable and probably hide-able (is this a word ??) but in some places, like just to the side of the rear seat, it is very off and not gluable (is this a word too??). I thought of contacting Rewell, not sure if they would send me a new kit :-I, as new parts just won't do at this stage. Not sayin' its FUBAR, will glue and cut and fill with putty and see what happens.

It's definitely coming along nicely. I hope you can battle through the fitment issues.

Not much progress as most of my time is spent trying to correct deformities. HobbyLink said they have nothing to do with this, they just sell it, Revell makes it. Revell say, basically, you bought it-it's your, deformed ? sucks to be you. The thing is, you don't see the deformities until you progress on so specific part replacement just won't work. The top of the fuselage is deformed but you don't notice it until later when the wing root cover needs to be attached.
There are three parts here, but you don't notice that one is deformed as they are attached at different steps
Will make the canopy in the elevated position to make the cockpit sides deformities less apparent, there is a 5mm gap.
The whole thing is workable, barely, but it shouldn't be like this.

It is starting to look like an airplane. The vertical stabilizer miraculously went together well and sits well where it is intended to. The orange "suspenders" hold the part that will hold the engine later in place because, you guessed it, they were deformed. Not hack of a lot but enough. Superglue did the work well.

Just when you finally start a kit you have been really wanting to build just to find out shortly after starting that you are going to regret this. Looks like you are whipping it into shape. Keep it up.

And I think Airfix would do a great job if they did them. But imagine a modern Tamiya Toom? Where's that Homer Simpson giff where his eyes have gone googly and he's drooling?

Medicman, I have the same issues around the jet intake. For now, this is what the nose cone looked like. Tamiya putty can only do so much so I cut off the guiding rails and flipped the cone upside down. The the left elevator or whatever it is called has a thin axle which was broken. I will superglue it on at later stage when the model does not need much handling as the contact surface is quite small. The fuel tanks and the missiles went together fine, finally something.

Knowing what you went through to get the fuselage to this point makes it even more impressive! It's really taking shape with the color running back to the vertical stabilizer.

Well I think mine may end up in the trash. I can find no way to get the intakes to fit.
