Thanks Ben! Rolled across the finish line earlier today. Just have to get some photos taken. Dude. Wow! How did you get such a tight mask over all of those compound surfaces?? Rocket pop... thank you!! As for the masking. Just got lucky on this one. Nothing special. Tamiya tape heavily burnished with the pointy end of a paint skewer

Tamiya tape heavily burnished with the pointy end of a paint skewer The fact that you were able to make the demarcation lines both straight and parallel (while still having no overspray) is pretty amazing. Good stuff!

Good stuff! Thank you! I did have to make a few attempts at getting the lines straight over the shapes but overall I’m beyond happy with how it turned out. I missed your last update Kyle. Looks fantastic sitting on its wheels! Thanks Brent!

Dang, man. Killer job! I haven't looked on Scalemates to learn the origins of this kit...what year tooling are we talking about?

Kyle, I'm super impressed with your build. The paint and finish is just outstanding. joel Thank you very much Joel. I always appreciate you following along with the build!! Dang, man. Killer job! I haven't looked on Scalemates to learn the origins of this kit...what year tooling are we talking about? Thanks Marc!! These are 1989 vintage kits. Must’ve tooled them up during the 1988 seasoand released them the following year. The Lola’s are the same and the Penskes as well. Seems like sometime in the late 80s AMT must’ve had someone who wanted to do Indycars again. But only for a couple years. Congrats on another killer build Kyle! Thank you very much!! Man that turned out great Kyle. Quite a looker. Thank you!! I really appreciate all of you following along
