As I have the Tone kit planned for this winter I will be following this build with extra interest. Are the paints you used so far the Linoleum XF-79 and IJN Grey XF-77?

As I have the Tone kit planned for this winter I will be following this build with extra interest. Are the paints you used so far the Linoleum XF-79 and IJN Grey XF-77? Yes,that's what I'm using Thanks! That helps me plan since I do an overall black wash I will need to lighten them both a bit. Even though a different kit they are so close that I am gonna' get loads of tips from this build I think.  |

Tamiya did release Japanese WW2 aircraft in 1/700 but I don't think they ever did in 1/350. There were some sets of more modern US aircraft in 1/350 but I believe that was it. |

Man you've got more stones than I do in tackling a naval project Tony and you've put on one heckuva show with this one. I've gotta say that this is definitely inspirational because I don't recall you ever building a ship before.
