Hi guys, so I got up early to spray a first coat of yellow and an hour ago I did the second one The masking tape is gone and after it's fully dried, I can a new layer and add the red coat (probably this evening). So If all goes well, I'll be able to wet sand it tomorrow and add a first layer of varnish as a preparation for the decals

Yellow is usually a very tricky color to bring out but you’ve worked wonders with this Jan. This is such a cool subject and I don’t remember ever seeing this one before. I’ve always seen the orange captured plane.

I’ve always seen the orange captured plane. Indeed, yellow is one of the colours I hate doing In total there are 9 layers to get to that stage of yellow... Primer 1 -> pre-shading 1 -> green -> yellow 1 -> primer 2 -> pre-shading 2 -> yellow 2 -> primer 3 -> yellow 3 So it kept me busy

Cool scheme you put on this with the neglected looking weathering to boot!

Dude..... I think you've set a record for building not only an interesting subject but also one that looks like it got driven past by many a deuce and a half on a muddy road. A great turn out in every aspect Jan!!
I'll have this one in the Group Build Gallery pretty quick man.
