I finally had some time to continue with this "Air racer" Bird
The weathering is done and I'll be finishing the landing gear tomorrow 🔥
So with a bit of luck I'll be spraying it's final coat of varnish tomorrow evening

You pulled this air racer scheme out of your hat and did it in grand fashion! I love the colors you chose and the pattern you did them in.

I never thought in a million years that I would ever see an Fw190 D-9 as an air racer but that day has most certainly arrived and in splendid fashion at that. What you have done here with this bird is nothing short of a modern art masterpiece Jan. The colors and scheme you've used makes for a very convincing racer look and fits nicely with the lines of this D variant. My hat goes off to you for 1.) coming up with this idea 2.) the work involved to achieve this look and 3.) for the way it turned out.

I just like building different/special schemes...

I'm having trouble deciding on my next build:
1) a 1:32 F8F-1 Bearcat in a Blue Angels scheme (Trumpeter).
2) a 1:48 B-17f in Memphis Belle/Sally B scheme (HK Models).
3) a 1:12 F-16 cockpit (Italeri)
4) a 1:72 B-24h in assembly ship scheme (Airfix).
5) a 1:48 SU-57 in matt black red star scheme (Zvezda).

And those are just a few of my ideas I have for the moment... 😬

This is my actual stash (I had a very big stash, but sold more then 100 kits).
And because I sold one to Joe, he introduced me to this wonderful place 😁🥳

That is one wild paint scheme, excellent. As for the next build, toss up! That's one that always takes time for me to figure out.

Jan I'd probably go for that B-17F from HK brother. I've got the Bloody Hundredth Eduard kit (an HK kit with some Eduard "extras" in an Eduard boxing) and am very interested in seeing how that one goes together. 

The kit that Jan is talking about that he sold me was a Miniart Field Workshop with a BUNCH of goodies. I'm looking very much forward to building this one ....

As for my next build, you probably saw that I choose the B-17f and again decided on a special livery
