Not sure I even spelled that right, but I’ve seen one modeler here use this and am wondering not only what it is, but how many use it on their automotive kits and why?

They make acrylic lacquer aerosol paint matched auto paint. You will want to check the type before using as some may be to "hot" for the plastic in our kits since they are meant to be used on 1;1 cars. Ive also read somewhere that the metallics in the paints will be larger in scale so it could look strange.

It is an automotive paint. I use the primer a lot. You can also get body colors, too. You can get a spray can with a lot mot paint than is in the hobby sized cans for less money per ounce. It is a lacquer.
