This is one of the first 3D printed kits I've built, it's a 1/72 'SU-122-54' from Red Tank Miniatures. The fine details on this are amazing with very few striations, making for a great little model. (Warning, shameless boast ahead) It was entered in our local comp last year and didn't place, I'm not sure that 3D printed kits rank as well as styrene kits when it comes to judging skills & effort, but I was absolutely blown away when it was awarded 'Entrants Choice, Best AFV'. I think that meant more to me than a place in the comp!
Thanks for looking in. TJ

The level of detail in this makes it look at least 1/35 in pictures. I will never get over the changes in 1/72 in both 3D print and styrene that we have seen in recent years. My brain still thinks of them all as 1960's Airfix!

It's amazing what they can 3D print these days! Fantastic job and really nice work on the painting and storage!

Dang it Tim!! That looks pretty dang spiffy in such a small scale. I'm with Tony in the fact that it looks like a much larger scale due to all of the details that are stuffed into this one. These smaller scale kits, to include 1/144 have come a LONG way in the past decade or so.

@406 Silverado. Apologies I just realised I posted this in the wrong thread, is it able to be moved? I'm still finding my feet with this forum

No worries Tim. Should go into the Allied Section right?

The "Completed Russian Post war T-Series" thread would be the best place I'd suggest, thanks mate. I need 'L' plates LOL
