A good mate of mine set me a challenge a few years back, he gave me this kit and he challenged me to build it kit box-stock, no additions, no modifications, (EDIT: no aftermarket mods or additions ) as I usually have to fiddle and tinker with every kit. I accepted his challenge, but with one caveat, I had to lower it, as the kit ride height was pretty sucky. Nothing special on this one, built out -of-the-box and just enamel paint. There was one complete stuff-up though - it was before I started wearing glasses (before I accepted the truth more like it) and I managed to put the Superbee decals on the wrong sides DUH!!!! Anyway, it sits in his cabinet now as I donated it back to him to help fill up his cabinet. Thanks for looking in. Cheers TJ

You got the ride height PERFECT on that thing Tim. These kits present a real challenge in getting them to look "real world" with some of the short comings that Revell put into (and left out) them. Great color choice and it looks like you've got the shine just about right for a O.E.M. car. Looks like you carried out the challenge very well I'd say and thank you for sharing this one with us!

Nothing wrong with an out-of-the box build. That's sharp!

Very nice indeed!
I the band around the rear end and the super bee logo has always caught my eye on these cars, as it does on your model.

Does the box really include those spectacular heater hoses, perfectly scale sized plug wires and exquisitely formed rad hose clamps? That wood steering wheel also looks perfect! All around I would drive it.

I built this so long ago I really didn't remember what we did agree to, I think with regards to "No mods or additions" we were meaning no custom work and no aftermarket parts I guess? Anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it now Cheers TJ
