Pretty nice subjects there. We had one of those Link trainers at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Tiny little thing. I like the Sikorsky s-39 as well. Never seen one in person.

Been there many times. Grew up 20 miles from there. I hope they start restoring some of those outside birds.

Thanks for the pics! So much of the good stuff is overseas in the U.S., Europe or the U.K so I can't access it, which means I really appreciate posts like this.

Awesome! I used to fly into Bradley several times a month but never stayed long enough to be able to visit the museum. I would love to crawl around that F-100A!

Looks like a very worthwhile place to visit Mark and thank you for sharing. The B-29 exhibit is a bit of a rare thing because there are only 26 of them left now. I've not seen a Cobra in YEARS but used to work around them all the time when I was in Army Aviation. Miss seeing stuff like that on a regular basis.

I don't know if any of you know this, but this is the Air Museum that took a direct hit from an F4 tornado in October of 79. Quite a few of the aircraft were destroyed or badly damaged
