Hey all. So I've gotten to the weathering stage of the Jeep ambulance. I'm a complete noob when it comes to weathering armor and I have some questions.
1. Chipping- What color do I use for the OD Green?
And how and what you use to make it dirty. I don't want much, just enough to make it look used.
Here's what it looks like at the moment.

As odd as this may sound you won't fine much chipping on a Jeep. Unlike armour where they get smacked and chipped the Jeep would just be wiped out. You would get some worn paint where straps and such rub and areas like the door sills where people out in and out. I would just do a dry brush of some dark steel in the wear areas. Stay away from rust. They just didn't last long enough in the field to get really rusty. Note the wear on the door sills and fenders on this one. Some very watery craft paint sprayed on the lower surfaces and a bit of a brush up with some earth tone pastels would bring it right up.

Pigments to simulate dust and dirt on the passenger floor and running boards, think your own vehicle when dirt and mud tracked in,also the tires and wheel wells, worn seats also. You need to decide if you want muddy or dusty. Check out the cab and seat of my LRDG truck
