I just finished my 1:10 scale US machine gunner in Normandy bust. The plinth is covered with sand from Omaha beach that I took home from a trip to Normandy last year. I wanted to give him a tired look, hence the pale face, blood shot eyes and bags beneath the eyes. I left off the ammo belt, as I was not able to get it on in a convincing way. I hope you like it. Comments are welcome.

WOW, I hope to have my skills reach the level of realism you reached here. Just really well done even the "5o clock" looks excellent. I will be studying this a lot closer to see what I have missed. Thank you for sharing your work.

Excellent work my friend and I love the touch of Omaha sand. I also applaud your decision to leave off the ammo belt. If you weren't happy with it, why let it detract from that beautiful paint work.
